2010 Ford Mustang Review and Prices

The Ford Mustang has always been a much respected and desired car in the automobile industry. Although it was created many years ago, it has evolved over the years, and currently is an extremely modernized car. Its powerful rear-drive and amazing performance has always been provided with affordable pricing. As always, the 2010 mustang comes with a few original choices. Either, the customer can choose a coupe, or convertible. Both come with choices of a v-6 engine, or a more powerful v-8 engine with the Mustang GT. The stock 4.0 liter v-6 shows an amazing 210 hp, whereas the 4.6 liter v-8 boasts an even more incredible 315 hp.

The v-8 has more power than in previous models, and also comes with a wonderful signature Mustang sound. The standard transmission is a 5 speed manual, although a 5 speed automatic is also available. The standard aluminum wheels are continually getting larger, with the 2010 at 17-18. One of the most recent options available is an all-new glass roof. The modern Mustang is constantly taking you back to its American muscle heritage.

Over 9 million customers have made it on of the worlds favorite icons. Paul Randle, Mustang chief engineer says about the 2010 Mustang, "We've designed and engineered this to be the next classic Mustang that everyone talks about for years and years." And thats exactly what the Ford team delivered in the new meaner-looking 2010 Ford Mustang.

The new aggressive-looking grille flaunts the first newly-designed Mustang emblem since the Mustangs introduction in 1964.  The headlamps and turn signals, which have been integrated into one unit, are inspired by the 1970 mustang.  On the v-6, the fog lamps are located on the lower fascia, while on the GT, the fog lamps are once again located on the upper grillehowever, they are smaller the outgoing model.  The smaller fog lamps on the GT were inspired by the 1967 and 1968 models.  The lower fascia and the grille are topped by a power dome hood which adds to its muscular appearance and functionally enhances the engine air-cooling system.

The washer-fluid nozzles have been tucked back into the cowl, and the antenna has been moved to the back of the car. The exterior sheet-metal, which wraps the entire car except for the fast-back roofline, is new for 2010.  Looking now at the wheel area, you see that the wheel flares are stretched, almost like a skin, over the wheels. Sliding to the rear, you can notice how the rear fender slopes gently up, giving the car an aggressive looking forward direction.  This makes a crouching look, original to the 2010 model, almost as if it is about to leap.  Above this fender, three LED lights fire sequentially for turn signals.  Sequential turn signals were a distinct mustang feature in the 1960s.  Since then, the 2010 mustang is the first to have this feature reappear.  A rear-view camera has been incorporated in some models.

Now, having seen the entire exterior of this stunning car, the 2 doors swing open. Inside, the new one-piece instrument panel is made of a seamless TPO (Thermo Plastic Olefin) skin, which encompasses the aluminum-finish panels. The Mustangs classic chrome-rimmed gauges and dual vane air vanes have been carefully designed and positioned. The centerstack includes the latest version of Ford SYNC featuring 911 assist and vehicular health report. The driver can personalize their instrument lighting through the My Color system, which has a 125 color range. On the whole, the 2010 Ford Mustang is the most gorgeous pony-car of all time.
